Our annual Krewe de Barkus Contest & Parade is set for Feb. 10, 2024, in downtown Meridian. This FUN Mardi Gras event is sponsored by Poplar Springs Animal Hospital and Animal Medical Supply and features great prizes for the winners. It only costs $10 to enter — and the proceeds go to the Lauderdale County Animal Shelter & Roadside Rescue. Are you ready to dress up your pup and be a winner?
