The Rose Hill Storytelling Conference is held each June in downtown Meridian at the Meridian Railroad Museum, 1805 Front Street. It is a reunion, a time storytellers come together from across the State of Mississppi. New members are welcomed to mingle with the ones who have told stories, maybe for 25 years, or those who only started the storytelling journey yesterday. Storytelling is a recognized artform, Actually, storytelling is the oldest artform known to man or woman. Before there were cave drawings, families and neighbors sat around a fire and told stories. Come be a part of the excitement of telling a story, all categories. It is a teaching tool as well as delicious entertainment.
