Recognizing the sacrifices of our POW/MIAs, Run for the Wall is an annual cross-country motorcycle ride starting in California & ending in Washington D.C. The southern leg of the tour comes through Meridian on the Monday before Memorial Day each year. Anyone wishing to welcome the riders & show support for the cause is asked to gather along the route as a display of patriotism. Riders depart from Jackson that morning and arrive at the Lauderdale County Agri Center at approximately 4:30 p.m., where they will be treated to a meal, an awards ceremony, and be provided with laundry service during this overnight stop. Come out and show your support for our POW/MIAs, and fellowship with a great group of people.
