ScaleTrains Meet & Greet at Meridian Railroad Museum

ScaleTrains™, a manufacturer of HO, N, and S Scale model trains, will be visiting the Meridian Railroad Museum (Address: 1805 Front St, Meridian, MS 39301) for a Meet & Greet on Wednesday, March 15, 2023. The doors open at 6:40pm and everyone is welcome to the event. This will be the model train maker’s only visit to the area during the Road Trip.

The event is part of the model train maker’s “Road Trip”: a 50 State tour that allows ScaleTrains to visit with hobbyists at model railroad clubs, railroad museums, and train-watching hotspots. The Road Trip is the first of its kind in the model railroad hobby industry and is helping the company to connect with its customers in an unprecedented way.

During a Meet & Greet, ScaleTrains displays their latest products and encourages attendees to pick-up the models for a closer look. The company typically spends about an hour sharing their company’s story, along with presenting a video about how the company makes model trains, and a Q&A session where participants can ask questions about its products and other hobby topics. ScaleTrains will also have gift bags and giveaways, so no one leaves empty handed.

“We look forward to sharing our favorite hobby with the Meridian Railroad Museum and can’t wait to tour their museum and view the vintage, restored railroad equipment there. We’re aso excited to see their HO Scale model railroad. The organization is all about preserving Mississippi railroad history and are also big on introducing new generations to our hobby. After all, that's what the Road Trip is all about. It will be great to meet with everyone there,” said Wilson. He continued: “This will be a fun event for all.”
