Sensory Sundays at Lynn Meadows Discovery Center

Sensory Sundays is an exclusive event for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and sensory processing differences to have a fun, enjoyable and interactive learning experience in a comfortable and accepting environment. This exclusive free event includes modifications of a less crowded environment and light and sound reduction. Free admission is made possible thanks to Gulf Coast Community Foundation – Anthony Dartez Endowment Fund.

We now have Sensory Friendly Backpacks that parents of children with sensory processing disorder can check out during Museum visits. Kits include tactile, auditory, visual aides to help chlddren stay comfortable and focused during their visit. Inquire at the Admissions desk.
