This is our third year to participate in the turkey giveaway. We have 60 FREE turkeys for special needs and medically complex families. Turkeys donated by Chef Henry Countiss, Missionscape, The SPOT and Legacy Learning and Career Management.

About the event
Chef Henry Countiss started this turkey tradition a three years ago and it has steadily grown. What started out as 20 turkeys in 2022 had grown to 60 turkeys in 2024! With the help of community partners, like Missionscape and Learning Legacy and Career Management, we are able to serve individuals and families with medical and special needs throughout the Lauderdale and surrounding areas.
To register, please call 601-616-9807. We will need your name, phone number and email address to complete your registration. Turkeys will be picked up nn Friday, November 22nd from The SPOT office; which is located at Fifteenth Ave. Baptist Church. All turkeys are frozen and and completely free!
