Get ready for a wild Summer Reading adventure at the Meridian-Lauderdale County Public Library! Join us on Tuesday, June 16, for a special live animal presentation presented by Freedom Ranch Wildlife Center as part of our 2026 Summer Reading theme, “Unearth a Story.”
Discover how today’s animals connect to the age of dinosaurs through an exciting mixed-species presentation featuring live rescue animals, birds, reptiles, and more! You may even meet some modern-day “raptors” and learn why birds are considered today’s dinosaurs.
