Doughboy Monument (Intersection of 6th/7th St. and 23rd Ave in Meridian)
Who: The Memorial Day Planning Committee invites all local residents to attend.
What: Veterans Day Tribute. Key Note Speaker is CAPT Luke Davis (Commander, Naval Air Station Meridian).
When: 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023.
Where: Doughboy Monument (Intersection of 6th/7th St. and 23rd Ave in Meridian). If there is bad weather, then the tribute will take place on the 3rd floor of City Hall.
Reason: Honoring all Veterans who have served or currently serving in any branch of the U.S Military.
Emphasis: All citizens are encouraged and invited to attend. This is whether or not they have served or had family that served in any branch of the military.
